Our mission: To update their image

When Southeastern Bible College approached us for marketing and web design, they had been serving students in Birmingham for 75 years. A small, private, accredited Christian college, their image was solid, untarnished – and dated.

Their look was also inconsistent. They had several old logos they were using concurrently, so their website and marketing material lacked a unified presentation.

Our main project was SEBC's website.It was outdated and unwieldy. Navigating the site was an unfriendly user experience, which was off-putting to prospective students.We wanted to make their site more attractive, and easier to navigate.

Attacking the subject matter was a good start. There wasn't enoughgoodcontent on the pages. We asked the right questions to help us augment the material. Then we massaged, edited and pruned the existing text to flow with the new content. We made it much easier for site visitors to find what they are looking for.

The staff at SEBC were also frustrated and stuck in an outdated proprietary content management system (CMS) that took months for some content changes to be made. We built the new website from the ground up in an open-source CMS that allows them to make their own changes instantly. We also provide quick and dependable support for when they need something more than they could do on their own.

Ultimately we painted a broader, clearer picture of Southeastern Bible College, portraying the school with a steady image, founded upon a solid mission. We expanded on the history of the college, and reorganized the page content for better, comprehensive subject organization. We also created a newer and richer look-and-feel that embodies the school's academic, spiritual and socially dynamic values.

We got rid of their old stock photography. We took a long, good look at their identity, and provided new, original photography and design to best reflect their educational vision. Our efforts will help SEBC become a more serious consideration for prospective students, with as website that clearly prensents them as a viable, Christian learning institution with an air of expertise and solidity.

In summary, we gave SEBC thetools to update or change their message instantlyand helped them share in a more dynamic, user-friendly way what they have to offer, helping them deliver a clear, consistent message to attract more students. And reaching more students will help them to continue reaching the world beyond their campus.
