FlexDigital Brings Home First-Ever ADDY Award
Against a backdrop of butcher shops and classic cars FlexDigital took home its first-ever ADDY Award. The annual American Advertising Federation Birmingham awards gala, held February 6 at Old Car Heaven, honored the most creative and well-crafted marketing campaigns in our area.
FlexDigital won the Silver ADDY for the “Cherish Love Protect” mailing campaign for Children’s Hospital. The campaign was one of several fundraising campaigns in 2009 for the hospital, challenged to draw contributions in a difficult economy.
“We are honored to receive this award. It’s always nice to be recognized for your creative work, but it’s even better when you’re recognized for your good work for such a universally good cause – helping children get better,” said Ben Fineburg, creative team director. “This award is truly a team effort and everyone involved should take some pride in their efforts.”
Although FlexDigital was definitely the new kid on the block at the awards showing this year, the company is excited about the potential for future creative projects.
“You know, it’s a pleasure to work with such a wonderful creative team!” said Stacy Harris, designer and Web manager. “It’s a cherry on top to be publicly recognized for the creative work we’ve done. This will be a function we will all remember well, and we look forward to a banner year in 2010.”
